Harvest and eat seasonal colorful vegetables. Kiriyama Farm Vegetable Harvest and BBQ
120 minute course
Date is known as one of many agricultural centers of Hokkaido, where quality vegetables are grown, and which receive the highest praise at the wholesale market. Visitors can enjoy a session of harvesting colorful and unusual vegetables grown on Kiriyama Farm, as well as a fun BBQ of local Ogon pork, and seasonal vegetables fresh from the garden.
Hear stories from Mr. Kiriyama, the farm owner, while you dig up sweet potatoes, pick tomatoes off the vine, and harvest other vegetables which are in season. Afterwards, you can grill the vegetables you harvested, with delicious Ogon pork, right in the middle of the field. The edamame boiled in a huge pot, are absolutely mouth-watering!
*Vegetables harvested will be different depending on the season.
